Wood Pavilion

A moment of pause in Taksim Square.

Intersecting timber planes create a small exhibition and gathering space within Taksim Square. Slatted surfaces filter light, provide shade and allow air to pass through. Vegetation and layered wooden surfaces soften the hardscape and invite people to move under, around and along the structure.
